Arts & Crafts Classes provide a fun, relaxed environment to learn a new skill while interacting with new friends and becoming engaged in the community.

“Raw Edge Appiqued Table Runner”
In this fun no-sewing required quilt class you’ll create an original table runner using fabric and glue. Designs are endless; Farmhouse chic, Easter, Spring Floral, Quilt Patch, Bold Abstract, etc. All supplies are provided by the instructor, Sues Winstead.

“Paper Weaving for a Journal Book Cover”
In this step-by-step class using patterned cardstock colored papers & an 8″x10″ journal with 336 blank pages, you’ll learn how to weave a paper cover for the journal. The rainbow assortment of cardstock strips will be pre-cut. Your journal will be covered with clear contact paper as a finishing touch to protect the beautiful paper weaving design. The journal can be used for writing down special recipes, a diary, a biography, a project notebook, a scrapbook of your trips & adventures or whatever you desire. All materials are provided by the instructor, Sues Winstead. Class will be held on April 15th from 10am-noon at Sue’s home; 112 Thanes Way.

“Making a Mola”
In this class, we’ll make a handmade textile using multiple layers of fabric and a reverse applique technique. Instead of hand sewing the layers together, we’ll use fabric glue. All materials needed are supplied by the instructor, Sues Winstead.

“Flower Arranging”
There is nothing more beautiful than fresh flowers out of the garden in the Spring. We’ll cut peonies, iris & roses to create an amazing floral arrangement in a vase with sea glass.
